 Chic Secret Garden

Chic Secret Garden, with colour palettes of asparagus green, moss green and lavender/purple hues.  I wanted to incorporate textures that you would find in the garden, such as wood carvings, elements of laced detail that you would find on iron garden furniture, rag paper, plenty of foliage, fruits and a butterfly all the way from Indonesia.  The vintage chairs used are purposely miss-matched, again incorporating dark wood, with varied green and blue cushioned fabrics.  I wanted to keep the overall look elegant and intimate and that’s why I chose the ‘Talulah’ and ‘Cora’ gowns, handmade by Ellie Lowe Wedding Dresses of Gloucestershire and a floor length embellished veil by Joyce Jackson.

We changed the look slightly throughout the day, from a Hollywood curl to a tousled, pleated up-do, finished with some bespoke millinery to finish off the look.  Little did we know that during the days leading up to our shoot, storm Doris was heading to the UK and you will see this reflecting slightly in some of the moodier bridal suite shots in addition to our model stood on top of a rock braving the strong winds.
